Paul Herman "Rabbit" Treadway

Paul Herman "Rabbit" Treadway, 65, of Bryson City passed away Friday May 23, 2014 at Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born February 27, 1949, son of the late Paul Herman Treadway Sr. and Laura Mathis Treadway. He worked in construction all of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Treadway, and sister, Grace Thomason. Mr. Treadway is survived by his sons, Richard Rash and wife Sherry, John Treadway and wife Gena, Carl Rash and wife Mary; daughters, Theresa Soltys, Jennifer Treadway, Paula Treadway; brother, David Treadway; sisters ,Patricia Wellehan, Brenda Inman, Joan Seagraves; grandchildren, Stephen, Christina, Amber, Alan, Jessica, Linda, Virginia, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Jackie, and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday May 30, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia. A family service will be held in Pocahontas, VA, on Saturday May 31, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funerals Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
