Paul Plemmons

Paul E. Plemmons, age 86 of Lowell, passed away June 25, 2012 at Peak Resources, Gastonia. He was born December 3, 1925 in Gaston County, son of the late Floyd C. and Lura Moore Plemmons. Mr. Plemmons was of the Free Will Baptist faith. A graveside and intombment service will be held 1:30 pm on Thursday at the Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum, Gastonia, officiated by Brother Ronnie Pressley. The family will receive friends after the service at the mausoleum. He is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Linda Haney Plemmons of the home; sons, Larry Plemmons and Jimmy Plemmons both of Gastonia; daughters, Sharon Elaine Plemmons of Lowell, Christal Lowrance of Lake Wylie, Loretta, Deborah and Sheila Lowrance all of Gastonia; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: daughters, Pauline Bullock and Debbie Plemmons; brothers, Arvil and George Plemmons; sisters, Gleenie Rayfield, Myrtle Bonham, Viola Webb, Julie Cordell.
