Paul Ashe

Paul Ashe, 84, of Belmont, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. A Gaston County Native, he was born June 20, 1929, son of the late Charles and Ruth Sanders Ashe. Mr. Ashe was a US Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Ashe; and brothers, Harold and Kenneth Ashe. Paul is survived by his sons, Ronald Ashe, Bill Ashe and wife Tonita; brother, Gary Ashe; sister, Irene Wyke; grandchildren, Bryan Ashe, and Amy Craig; two great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood, will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 13 at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
