Patsy "Pat" Braswell

Patsy "Pat" Braswell, 72, of Gastonia, passed away July 15, 2016 at her residence.

Daughter of the late Leo and Innas Redding Braswell, she was born April 26, 1944, in Gaston County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Blair Braswell; and her sister, Jill Mullinax.

Pat was a graduate of Appalachian State University and was a high school teacher for many years.

Left to cherish her memories are several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Larry Laws, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday.

Interment will be in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
