Patsy Bailey Alexander

Patsy "Pat" Bailey Alexander, 61, passed away December 5, 2012, at her home. She was a Gaston County native, born August 26, 1951, daughter of Louise Huffstickler and the late James A. Bailey. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved planting and tending her garden. She was a member of Arrowood Baptist Church, Bessemer City. A funeral service will be held 3pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Hinkle Rayfield Jr.. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia. In addition to her mother she is survived by: daughters, Julie McDonald, Crystal Hope and her husband, George; brother, Ray Bailey; sisters, Evelyn Costner and Kay Bright; grandchildren, Phillip Hope, Brooke Sanchez, Megan McDonald; great grandchild, Cheyanne Wagner. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by: sister, Hazel Marie Bailey. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
