Patricia "Diane" Wright

Patricia "Diane" Wright, 72, of Gastonia passed away April 30, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, she was born July 3, 1948, daughter of the late Charlie H. and Pearl S. Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jim Wright; daughter, Anita Willard; sisters and brothers, Doris Hawkins, Don, Arnold, and Gary Hawkins, Brenda Owenby.

Left to cherish her memories are her sisters, Edith Gaston and Gail Rote; dear friends Gary London and Cory London.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Michael Rote, will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the South Chapel Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends, from 6 until 8 pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Blair Sellers, Tommy Sellers, Donnie Hawkins, Steve Gaston, Paul Gaston, and Gary London.

Interment will be in Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
