Patricia Johnson Sutton

Patricia Johnson Sutton, 76 of Gastonia, N.C., departed this life on June 4, 2022, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, N.C.

She was born on October 1, 1945, in Wigan, Lancashire County, England, to the late John Garland Johnson & Agnes Gallagher Johnson.

She attended Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Chateauroux American High School, Chateauroux, France in 1964. She was of the Christian faith, and a member of the Bruno Church of God in Bruno, W.Va. for 19 years, where she sang in the choir, and also with the Echoes of Calvary & the Daughters of Calvary.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband of 21 years, Gary Curtis Sutton Sr., of the home, children: Donna Trent Kearns of Kernersville, N.C., James Edward Trent Jr. & wife Shannon of Lincolnton, N.C., Catherine Trent Stevens & husband Christopher of Verner, W.Va., and Deborah Trent Ridgeway & husband Greg of Denver, N.C., and her brother, John D. Johnson & wife Joan of Asheville, OH., nine grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

Memorial service officiated by Pastor Andrew K. Willard & Bro. Wade H. Kearns, will be held 3pm on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
