Patricia Kathleen Small

Patricia Kathleen Small, 82, of Bessemer City, passed away on February 21, 2014 at her home. She was born March 30, 1931 in London, England. Mrs. Small was a retired cook that had worked in the coffee shop at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. The family would like to give special thanks to Gaston Hospice and The Church of Christ for their care and concern for Mrs. Small. A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at Church of Christ, 1919 North New Hope Rd., Gastonia officiated by Pastor Mike Morton. Mrs. Small is survived by: daughters, Michelle Small, Mary Jane Deal, Deborah (Annie) Small ,Rose Marie George and husband Donald ; son, Steven Small and wife Linda, Gordon Small; daughter in-law, Beverly Small; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: son, William "Billy" Small Jr.; daughter, Kathleen Headrick; son in-law, Randy S.Deal. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to University Church of Christ, 565 Zeigler Blvd., Mobile, AL 36608, earmark for Garrett Missions or Church of Christ/ India Mission, P.O.
