Patricia Rickard Harris

Patricia Rickard Harris, 73, of Gastonia, passed away April 20, 2017 at her residence.

She was born November 3, 1943, in Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Anthony Vernon Rickard and Minnie Smith Rickard.

Patricia was a member at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church.  Her and her husband, Charles were ministers in the mission field, where they traveled to Jamaica, Israel and Honduras.  She had a passion for quilting and sewing.  She loved the Lord, her family and church family.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 57 years, Charles Jimmy Harris; daughter, Susie Nanney and husband Todd; sons, Scott Harris and wife Kelli, Robin Harris and wife Debbie, Eric Harris and wife Margaret; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon and Mike Rickard.

A funeral service, officiated by Dr. David Hodge, will be held 2 pm Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Crouse Baptist Church Cemetery.
