Patricia O. Grayson, 72, of Mount Holly, won her fight and gained her heavenly body on Friday, March 4, 2022. Since her cancer diagnosis two years ago, she has shown strength, courage, and grace with unwavering faith while she fought the hard fight.
Pat was unlike any other with a heart that loved fully and gave generously.
She will be missed dearly.
A Gaston County native, Pat was born June 18, 1949, daughter of the late Jarvis and Elizabeth Oxner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grayson; brother, Jarvis C. Oxner Jr.; and sister, Beverly Pugh.
Mrs. Grayson was a member of First Assembly of God in Gastonia. She was a registered nurse who was retired from Advanced Home Health Care, and was an avid pet lover.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Scott Hoyle; grandchildren, Jacob Hoyle and wife Trisha, Rainey and Chance Lowe; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kimber, and Garrett Lowe; brother, Larry Oxner and wife Vivian; numerous nieces and nephews, and special fur babies, Oliver and Miss Kitty.
A service celebrating Pat's life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 12, 2022, at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia.
The service will be officiated by Pastor Dennis Boyce and Rev. Lamar Creel.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00AM until 11:00AM prior to the service.
