Patricia Baker Forbes

Patricia Baker Forbes, 72, of Iron Station, NC, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Catawba County on April 25, 1951, to the late Donald and Arline Baker.

Patricia was a member of Evangel Assembly of God in Gastonia. She retired from Piedmont Natural Gas with 31 years of service. Patricia loved her family and her church family. She loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Paul Baker Jr.; and her fur baby Ellie.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 29 years, David Forbes; nephews, Josh Baker (Karen), Jeremy Baker (April), Zack Baker; great nephews and nieces, Katie Baker, Justin Baker, Alyssa Baker; several other nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Rufus Johnson, will be held, Thursday, December 21, 2023, 2:00 pm, at Evangel Assembly of God, 625 Neal Hawkins Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
