Patricia Emory

Patricia Lynn Kell Emory, 54, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Lynn was born December 9, 1966, in Gaston Co, NC, daughter of Neal Douglas Kell and Patsy Shirlene Davis Kell.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Jeffery Scott Emory; her sons of the home, Michael Scott Emory, and Douglas Ray Emory; her daughter, Kimberly Ann Emory; grandchildren, Dean Richard Carpenter, and Emma Rhaye Ann Carpenter; sister, Jeana Kell; and sister-in-law, Charlene Friday.

She is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Essie Davis; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Dorothy Jones.

Ms. Lynn was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. As well as a loving and caring grandmother, in which Dean Richard, and Emma Rhaye Ann were such a huge part of her life. Her first love was her family, but Ms. Lynn had a great love for animals, especially her cat, Bo, and her sweet dog, Winn Dixie.

A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.

Family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
