Pat Mcdaniel Mitchell

Pat McDaniel Mitchell, 71, of Kings Mountain passed away December 14, 2012 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born March 18, 1941 in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Adam and Ollie McIntosh McDaniel. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain, officiated by Rev. Steve Grigg and Dr. Tim Sims. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC . Interment will be at Mount Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain. She volunteered with the Earthen Vessel, loved her family and church family. She had a servant's heart. She is survived by: her husband for over 54 years, Lewis Mitchell; son, Michael Lewis Mitchell and wife Kelley; daughter, Melissa Mitchell Gordon and husband Tim; brothers, Franklin, Larry, Sammy, and Wayne McDaniel; sisters, Louise Smith, Wilma Forrest, Ruthelle Huss, Brenda Dellinger, Debbie Craig; grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Clay, Cody, Caden, and Caleb Mitchell, Jordan, Logan, Lauren, and Lindsay Heath, and Xander Gordon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her brother, Roger McDaniel. Memorials may be made to the Kings Mountain Hospice House, 321 Kings Mountain Blvd. Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
