Pastor John Busler

Pastor John Busler, Sr., 69, of Belmont, passed away March 9, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 10, 1948 in Gaston County, son of the late Earl Busler and Anna Laura Truett Busler.
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Belmont.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Connie Wells Busler; sons, John Busler, Jr. and wife Karen, Kevin Busler and wife Michelle, Jeff Busler; grandchildren, Jonathan and fiancé Brittany, Savanna, Abigail, Shauna and fiancé Jason, Emily, Taylor and Dylan; great grandchild Sophie; brother, Larry Busler; sister, Freida Brown, Ruby Wells and husband Larry; many nephews and nieces; cousins.
In addition to Pastor John's parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Hughes.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, Belmont, officiated by Pastors Forrest Hennessee and Larry Wells.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm at the church.
Interment is private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Home and Crematorium, Gastonia.
