Pamela Faye Thompson

Pamela Faye Thompson, born on April 2, 1972, in South Carolina, left us too soon on April 23, 2025, at the age of 53. A resident of Shelby, North Carolina, Pamela lived a beautiful life filled with love for her family and a strong commitment to caring for those she held dear.

Pamela was a devoted homemaker and spent many cherished years as a caregiver for her beloved husband, Larry Thompson, Sr. The love she had for her family knew no bounds, and she took immense joy in being a loving mother to her children, Maranda Self (Mycal) and Larry Thompson, II (fiancée Kayla Wise); grandchildren, Jason Self, Hailey Self, Elijah Thompson, and Noah Thompson; siblings, Patty Wooten (Alan) Sherry Snipes (Raymond), Darrell Bennett, Angie Stafford (Timmy) and Christine Anderson (Chadwick).

Pamela's warmth, generosity, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, memories, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Pamela's life during visitation at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.

Pamela's love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Kanethia Bennett; sister, Teresa Rhyne.
