Oma B. Lecroy

Oma B. LeCroy, 91, of Gastonia, passed away June 15, 2016 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born July 16, 1924 in Jackson County, the daughter of the late James Edgar Buchanan and Bertha Tatham Buchanan.

Oma was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her children and extended families.  She was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church in Gastonia.  Psalm 23 was one of her favorite passages of scripture.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching golf on television.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Jim LeCroy of Wilmington, Jeff LeCroy of Gastonia; sister Ila Mae Parker of Sylva; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles LeCroy and son Joe LeCroy.

There will be a private graveside service to be scheduled in the near future.
