Olline Lyles Goble, 85, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on March 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 2, 1940, in Long Creek, SC to the late Edmond and Marie Lyles.

Olline was a woman whose life centered on the people she loved the most. She cherished time spent with her family and loved making memories together. She was the proud mother of four children and thirty plus grand, great-grand and great-great- grandchildren who brought her endless joy!

Olline enjoyed shopping with her sister, taking trips to the mountains and gathering with her family whenever she could. Those simple moments of laughter, conversation and togetherness meant the world to her.

Olline is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Goble; her precious daughters, Barbara Hollifield, Tammy Crawford (Jason), Lynn Dellinger (Dan), stepson, Shane Goble and her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Olline was preceded in death by her siblings, Pete Lyles, Ruth Johnson, Blanche Lyles, Ruby Morris, Margie Morris, Buck Lyles; son, Jackie Lyles; and granddaughter, Cindy Lyles.

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Scott Rudisill officiating.

The burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Olline's life was a beautiful reflection of love, family and faith. Her legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind and through the many lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.
