Other jobs included helping polio and burn patients with therapy and running a grocery store in Ann Arbor with her husband. Olive was known for her good cooking and baking, and she was a talented seamstress whether making doll clothes or evening gowns or costumes for her husband who was an entertainer. She and Neil loved to fish. When she lost her vision, she learned to crochet beautiful afghans and weave lovely baskets. Most of all, Olive will be remembered as a loving and devoted Mom who always put her family first.
