Ola Mae Carroll Ivester, 79, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born July 5, 1933 in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Irby and Minnie Spurlin Carroll. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service -West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Pastor Rick Brackett The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. The interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.She is survived by: her sons, Leroy Ivester and wife, Debbie, Frank Torben Ivester; daughters, Patricia Ivester, Janice Queen and husband, Tim, Crystal Edwards and husband, Rodney; brother, Ray Carroll; sister, Betty Jean Foster; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
