Odie Cape

Odie Cape, 66, of Gastonia passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Peak Resource Center in Gastonia.

He was born November 1, 1956, in Gaston County to the late Harlan and Lula Newton Cape.

Odie loved music and played the drums. He loved horses and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Francis Potts Cape.

Odie is survived by his daughter, Nikki O'Brien and husband Josh; brother, Duane Tompkins and wife Ginger; sisters, Robin Griffin and husband Danny, Teresa Haas and husband Jimmy, Hope Cape; one grandchild, Neela O'Brien.
