Normand H. Desilets

Stanley, NC - Normand H. Desilets, 86, of Stanley, passed away Tuesday, May 13th, at Caromont Regional Med. Ctr., Gastonia. He was born August 27, 1927 in Warren, RI, son of the late Leger and Adeline Desilets. Normand was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; sons, David, Michael and John Desilets; daughter, Christine Shurick; grandchildren, Rebecca, Bonnie, John and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Devin, Arieta and Oliver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Desilets. All services are private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
