Gastonia, NC Norman "DUKE" Parks, 57, July 2, 2013, passed away at his home. He was born May 21, 1956 in Joplin, MO. A graveside and interment service will be held 12:30 pm on Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1462 Armstrong Ford Rd., Belmont, NC 28012, officiated by Rev. Danny Garner. He is survived by: companion, Cindy Brewer; son, Jeramy Parks; daughters, Ellie Davis and spouse,Sean, Sherrie Parks; father and his wife, Norman W. and Geneva Parks; mother, Beverly Helton; brother, Gene Parks and spouse, Cindy; sisters, Pam Lang and spouse, Pat, Tammy Burns and spouse, Don; nine grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends; faithful pet, Tiny. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Misty Lynn Parks. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
