Norma Jean Bolin Alexander, 59, of Gastonia, NC, passed away January 3, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, in Gastonia, NC.
She was born January 9, 1965, in York County, SC to the late JB and Edna Bratton Bolin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Bolin, Mike Bolin, and Edward Bolin; and sister, Lorraine Lear
Norma was a very loving individual. She was outgoing and full of laughter; even through the pain, she stayed uplifting. She loved her kids and grandkids with all of her being. She cared about others more than herself. She was a die-hard wrestling fan, as well as a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Norma is survived by her partner and companion, Chris Curry; son, James Alexander; daughters, Danna Thrower and husband Albert, Mindy Robbins and husband Joshua; step-son, Reggie Curry; a brother, Billy Bolin; grandchildren, Mason Robbins, Carter Robbins, Peyton Thrower, and Bentley Mitchum; and best friend Lesia Knight.
A service to celebrate Norma's life will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Rapture Ready Church, 5144 Black Highway, Smyrna, SC 29743. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
