Nora Lindsey

Nora Leonidas Lindsey, 60, of Belmont, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, born on November 6, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robie Lindsey and Mary Hardin Lindsey.

Nora had previously attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Holly. She really enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Lindsey; and brother, James Lindsey.

Left to cherish Nora's memories are her sons, Ben Mitchem (fiancée Sarah Kennedy) and Daniel Green (Mona); brother, Roger Lindsey (Joyce); sister, Diann Morris (Robert); grandchildren, Kaycee Mitchem, Shia Green and Dahlia Green; and many other family members.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Randy Arrowood, will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Holly – 841 Noles Dr., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment to follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
