Nina Carver Cleveland, 50, of Bessemer City, passed away on April 15, 2014 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville. She was born August 21, 1963, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Wylie and Kate Carver. Nina was a member of Open Heart Ministries in Kings Mountain. She was employed for 28 years in Hotel Hospitality. She enjoyed NASCAR and was a fan of Tony Stewart. She was an avid reader of various authors. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Christopher Carver and Pastor Donald J. Herscher. The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday. Inurnment will be private. Mrs. Cleveland is survived by: her husband of 31 years, Ray Cleveland of the home; son, Christopher Carver of Bessemer City; daughter, Michelle Lee of Gastonia; stepdaughter, Jolene Cleveland of WI; brother, Matthew Carver of Bessemer City; sister, Cheryl Berry and husband David of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Justin, Caleb, and Jr., Carver.
