Nickey Lee Mayberry

Nickey Lee Mayberry, 42, of Grover, passed away January 13, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Kings Mountain.

He was born September 21, 1973, a native of Cleveland County, the son of Rayburn Cantrell and Barbara Bingham Cantrell.

Left to cherish his memories along with his parents are his loving wife, Michelle Mayberry; sons, Joshua Timms and wife Carrie and Dylan Mayberry; daughter, Jessica Mayberry and husband Kelly Pettit; brother, Randy Mayberry; sister, Pam Parker and husband Danny and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday at Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst Street, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Leo Kuykendall.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst St., Gastonia, NC 28056.
