Nettie Mae Duncan Briggs
January 10, 1941 — October 1, 2017
Nettie Mae Duncan Briggs, 76, went home to be with the Lord October 1, 2017 at Cleveland Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
She was born January 10, 1941 in Columbus County, NC, the daughter of the late Boyd and Annie Mae Duncan.
Nettie was a member of Independent Full Gospel Church of Dallas, she loved going to church and worshipping the Lord. She loved working in her flower beds, but most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories are sons, Chip (Angela) Briggs of Dallas; Dale (Josie) Briggs of Dallas; Mike (Marie) Briggs of Lincolnton; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren & still growing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Briggs; son, James Martie; brothers James, Kenneth, LC, and Wilson Duncan; sisters, Bernice Soles and Mary Brosas.
Family and friends may pay their respects to family from 1 – 3 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Independent Full Gospel Church, 1206 Rosewood Drive in Dallas.
A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Buck Willard Whitted, will be held 3 p.m. Friday following the visitation.
She will be placed at Long Creek Graveyard in Dallas, beside her husband.
