Blacksburg, SC Nelson "Chucky" Ervin Jr., 52, passed away October 9, 2012, at Brian Center Health & Rehab., Gastonia. He was born July 19, 1960 in Mecklenburg County, son of Lela Griffin Grubb and the late Nelson Theodore Ervin Sr. A memorial service to celebrate Chucky's life will be held 3pm on Friday at Centerview Baptist Church, Belmont.The family will receive friends after the service on Friday at the church. Interment is private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia. A guest registry is available at greenefuneral.com
