Nell Elders

Nell Elders, 82, of Dallas, NC passed away at home on September 6, 2020.

She was born in Clay County, NC on July 21, 1938 to the late Paul John Woody and Verna Lee Moffitt Woody.

Nell was a member of Northside Community Church in Dallas, NC.  She worked in textiles for several decades and had recently worked at Sam's Club in Gastonia, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Woody and Paul Woody, Jr.; and a sister, Christine Lee Moss.

Nell is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Ralph Dellis Elders; daughter, Debby Cloninger and husband, Donnie; sons, Stephen Eric Elders and fiancé Robin McDonald, and Jeffrey Dellis Elders; grandchildren, Laureen, Jeffrey, and Cierra; and great-grandchildren.

Rev. Sam Barnette will officiate at a private entombment to be held at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
