Nancy Kesel Sexton

Nancy Sexton, age 80 passed away at the Hospice House of Monroe on Friday, January 25, 2013. She was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on December 28, 1932 and is the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Kesel. Nancy was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Benny Wigginton. Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Lane and husband Joe, of Indian Trail, NC, and Donna Macauley, of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Philip Macauley, of Oakland, CA, and Thomas Wigginton, of Manhattan, NY; two brothers, James Kesel of Woodbridge, VA and Leonard Kesel, of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Charlotte Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA and Carol Wilkinson of Bath, PA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Nancy will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Faith United Methodist Church, Lake Park, NC with the Rev. Lonnie Pittman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
