Nancy Ellen Price

Nancy Ellen Price, 82, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born August 19, 1942, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Marshall and Sarah Thomas.

Nancy retired from Firestone. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Nancy loved cats, and anything cat print, and always took care of everyone. Her hobbies were coloring, and crossword puzzles. Her favorite actors included Sam Elliott, and Patrick Swayze. Her favorite movies included Wizard of Oz, Dirty Dancing, and Beauty and The Beast.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Beverly Kimsey, and Natalie Mitchem.

Nancy is survived by her brothers, Billy Eugene Thomas, and Alan Richard Thomas; grandchildren, Shane Brown, Misty Adams, Ashley Bowen, and Sierra Adams; great-grandchildren, Austin, Bradley, Valkyrie, Vespera, Dillon, Lucas, Marcy, and Alex; and great-great-grandchildren, Nova, Rylan, and Scarlet.

The family will receive friends 1:30pm-2:30pm, Friday, November 15, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette will be held 3:00pm, Friday, at Gaston Memorial Park - 1200 S. New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
