Nancy Mcentyre

Nancy Jane McEntyre, 70, of Dallas, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, she was born May 9, 1951.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sara Gossett; husband, Jerry McEntyre; son, Benny McEntyre; daughter, Teresa Melton; grandson, Shadoe Degunion; and sisters, Dorinda McGinnnis and Angie West.

Mrs. McEntyre loved her family and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jerry McEntyre and Jessie Palmer; daughters, Rhonda Degunion, Sandy Snead and husband Chris, Michelle McEntyre, Racheal McEntyre and significant other Wayne Spears; Allison Sanders and husband Aaron, Oletia Conner and husband Tony; brothers, Wayne Davis, Nathan Davis and wife Sheila, Tommy Gossett, Jeff Gossett and wife Lisa, Joey Gossett and wife Teresa; sisters, Regina Ford and husband Morrison, Mahoda Davis, Marquita Redlinger; 21 grandkids; and a WHOLE LOT of great-grandkids.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia.
