Nancy "Nan" Goforth Craft

Nancy "Nan" Goforth Craft, 90, of Gastonia, passed away December 3, 2016 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.

She was born January 26, 1926 in York County, the daughter of the late John Fulton Goforth and Katie Jane Sheppard Goforth.

Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church and a previous member of the choir.  She was also a member of DAR, Major William Chronicle Chapter.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 68 years Hugh B. Craft; sons Hugh B. Craft Jr., Carroll G. Craft and James P. Craft; daughters Nan Craft Howell and Jan Craft Chambers; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Wendy Craft Brooks and 4 brothers and 7 sisters.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Asher Panton will be held 2 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Gastonia, 2650 Union Road, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers to carry Nancy to her final resting place in Gaston Memorial Park include Todd Chambers, James Howell, Jimmy Howell, Spencer Howell, Bryson Howell and Larry Harris.
