Nancy Garrett

Nancy Garrett, 87, of Gastonia, passed away April 17, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 4, 1933, in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Preston Alexander Gladden and Bertha Wright Gladden.

Nancy was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Grover.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 1222 Longbranch Road, Grover, officiated by Pastor Robbie Moore and Pastor Norris Willis.

The family will receive friend 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Donald Garrett and wife Amy, Keith Garrett; her daughters, Margaret Louise Berryhill and husband Jim, Angela Baker and husband Larry; twelve grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Neal Garrett; her son, Calvin Eugene Garrett; granddaughters, Geneva Irene Fraser, Cassie Horn Berryhill, Misty Garrett; grandson, Chris Baker; great-granddaughter, Winter Gilland; brother, Monroe Gladden.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
