Nancy Hardin Fowler

Nancy Hardin Fowler, 81, of Huntersville, passed away April 26, 2017 at Alexandria Place in Gastonia.

She was born May 29, 1935 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Robert James and Margaret Estelle Hardin.

Nancy was a retired registered nurse with over 45 years of service.  She enjoyed reading and loved her family.  She never met a stranger.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over 60 years, Joe Fowler; sons, Jeff Fowler and fiancée, Michelle Bryant; Jake Fowler and wife Kimberly; daughter, Joanie David and husband, Chuck; sister Cordie Armstrong; grandchildren, Dr. Alexandra Fowler, Joseph Dorman and Anthony Fowler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and James Hardin; sisters, Martha Frye and Paula Hardin and one grandchild, Aaron Fowler.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Sam Barnette.

The family will receive friends 2 – 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Westview Gardens.
