Gastonia, NC Nancy Stanford Dunn, 63, went home to be with the Lord, January 30, 2013, at Peak Resources of Gastonia She was born November 3, 1949 in Charlotte, daughter of the late, Fred Louis Stanford and Mary Christine Deese Carnes. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd.,Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Richard Cole. The family will receive friends 4-6 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. She is survived by: her daughter, Lisa Stanford Greene of Gastonia; sons, Ronnie F. Dillard Jr., Michael L. Dillard and his wife, all of Kings Mountain; brother, Fred V. Stanford and his wife, of Gastonia; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peak Resources, 2780 X-Ray Dr., Gastonia, NC 28054 or West Fifth Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, 2145 W. Fifthe Ave., Gastonia, NC 28052.
