Nancy Lee Barnes

Nancy Lee Barnes, 62, of Clover, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 9, 1954, daughter of the late James and Greta Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry "Barney" Barnes.

Nancy was a member of First Assembly of God in Gastonia.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her children, Scott Barnes and wife Crystal of Gastonia, Shane Barnes of Kings Mountain, Josh Barnes of Charlotte, Cliff Barnes and wife Kyla of Gastonia; grandchildren, Stephanie, Amberly, Trinity, Carmynn, Ethan, and Noah Barnes; siblings, Joetta Clark and husband Steve of Myrtle Beach, SC, Billie Moten and husband Jim of Clover, SC, Jimmy Williams and wife Debbie of Marion, NC, Sina Honeycutt and husband George of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law, Brenda Tignor of High Shoals; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Darlene Barnes of Deland, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Pat and Louise McBee of York, SC; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Helen Glisson of Gastonia.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Dennis Boyce, will be held 7 pm Monday, June 5, at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
