Nadine Moore Barrett

Nadine Moore Barrett, 64, of Gastonia, passed away January 30, 2017 at home.

She was born a native of Gaston County on January 19, 1953, the daughter of James Mitchell Moore, Sr. and the late Audrey Jean Chitwood Moore.

Nadine was a tumbler for Ashley High School before being employed with Threads Inc. - Ti-Caro Dixie Yarns for 30 plus years.  She had a deep love and devotion for her God and family.  She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memories along with her father are her son Brantley Moore and (Kristi Babb); daughter Kheirston Moore and (Chris Williams); brother James Mitchell Moore Jr.; sisters Cynthia Moore Knight and (Robert), Sharon Elaine Moore (Donald Jenkins), Vickie Moore Jenkins and (Richard Penland); grandchildren Nathaniel Jameson Williams, Kaylee Makenzie Moore, Keldon Isaiah Williams, James Dyllon Moore, Cahliya Moriah Williams and Jaxon Dean Moore.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd "Bubber" Barrett.

A celebration of life service will be held 3 pm on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
