Myrtle Broyles

Myrtle R. Broyles, 80, of Gastonia, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born March 4, 1932 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Cornelius and Mamie Cashon Rabon. Mrs. Broyles was a member of Dallas Church of God, Dallas, NC. A memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday at Dallas Church of God, officiated by Pastor Danny Shortridge Sr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1-2 pm on Saturday at the church. Interment is private. She is survived by: her loving husband of 28 years, Billy Broyles of the home; son, Greg Cantrell and wife, Deborah of Lawrenceville,GA; daughter, Brenda Cantrell of Gastonia; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; four brothers in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
