Murray Edward Mcginnis, Jr.

Murray Edward McGinnis, Jr., 86, of Gastonia, passed away November 3, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born, February 4, 1928, a native of Gaston County, son of the late, Murray McGinnis, Sr. and Gertie McGinnis. A graveside service will be held 11 am on Thursday at Gaston Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Billy Ginn. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Murray is survived by his wife, Shirley McGinnis; daughter, Teresa McGinnis and sister, Helen McGinnis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four siblings. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
