Monica Dianne Neelands

Monica Dianne Neelands, 58, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away February 10, 2022 at her home.

Resident of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Ella Mae Waldt and the late Richard Berryhill. Monica was the life of the party, always making everyone around her laugh. She was humble and had a heart of gold. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and subscribing to organizations that assist others.

She is survived by: partner: Curtis Moore (Kings Mountain, NC), son: Robbie Neelands and wife Angie (Bushy) Neelands (Clover, SC), daughter: Brittany Moore (Kings Mountain, NC), grandchildren: Emilie Neelands and Ben Neelands (Clover, SC), great grandchildren: Blakeleigh Goodson (Clover, SC), sisters: Denise Davis (Fairfield, CT) and Michelle Waldt (Kings Mountain, NC), nephews: Trey Merrill and wife Kimberly Merrill and their children Mason and Karson (Lexington, KY), and Alex Davis (USMC, Cherry Point, NC), nieces: Gabriella Davis and Lilya Davis (Fairfield, CT).

Monica was preceded in death by her father Richard Berryhill, step-father Marshall Waldt and step-mother Ira Lou Berryhill.

A service to celebrate Monica's life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, with Joseph Salazar, officiating. Interment to follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
