Monica Gail Messer, 52, of Gastonia, passed away October 9, 2017, at Catawba Regional Hospice House, Newton.
She was born December 10, 1964, in Cleveland County, daughter of Elizabeth Cobb and the late Ronald Cobb.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Greg Ballard.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday October 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Messer is survived by her loving husband, David Messer; daughters, Alyssa Keys and husband Jeffrey, Jessica and Janna Messer; brother, David Cobb ; sister, Nicole Hogan.
