Mona Beatrice Costales Baumgardner, 82, of Kings Mountain, passed away on March 1, 2016, at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain.
She was born April 4, 1933, in Mandelson ,Wyoming daughter of the late Samuel Costales and Eva Lopez Costales.
Mrs. Baumgardner was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Gastonia.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Cleveland County, Testa Hospice House and Cleveland Regional Medical Center
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Landmark Baptist Church, 311 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Forrest Hennessee.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
Mrs. Baumgardner is survived by sons, Col. Rusty Baumgardner and wife, Tammy, Frank Jamie, Sylvester Jamie, Jessie Jamie; daughters, Tracy Baumgardner, Rose Jamie, Lorna Durbin and husband, Garret; brother, Sam Lopez; grandchildren, Cassi Baumgardner, Calli Pruell and husband, Luke, Cori Baumgardner, Marcus Dolphin, Amy Worsham: several great – grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross Baumgardner; sons, Jim Jamie, Mark Malm; sister, Josephine Espinoza.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
