Mollie Louise Carver

Mollie Louise Carver, 88, of Mt. Holly, passed away July 17, 2022, at Woodlawn Haven.

She was born January 1, 1934, in Transylvania County, NC, to the late Miles Clayton Aiken and Geneve Ramey Aiken.

Mollie was a member of Day Star Baptist Church in Mt. Holly.  She was a knitter in the textile industry. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and crafts. She loved her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Sylvester Soles and Oscar Carver; a son, Sammy Soles; brother, Allen Aiken; sisters, Alice Mae Aiken and Ella Mae Aiken.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Soles (Donita); daughters, Margaret Smith, Barbara Robinson; brothers, Lawrence Aiken (Kay), Arthur Aiken (Doris); eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Johnny Yarboro, will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly.
