Trust in the Lord with all Thine heart and He will direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Mollie Ann Adams Baynard entered the heavenly gates August 27, 2022, after living a full life of love and service.
Born November 13, 1942, in Clover to Roy and Lillian Adams, Mollie was one of eight children.
She was a Clover resident her whole life only serving a few stents elsewhere to follow her husband of 55 years, Chuck Baynard, while he served in the Army. She was a proud member of the Clover High School Class of 1961 and lettered playing half-court basketball as a guard. She served in ministry as a pastor's wife at Clover EPC. She held many titles at work, in the community and with family including several within the Eastern Star of which she was a member over forty years. The title she held in highest regard was Grandma. Her only daughter, Beth, and husband Todd Goff gave her three grandsons, Colton, Trevor and Keegan who were the light of her world. As Grandma, she supported them in every endeavor and was their first teacher.
She is survived by her sister Betty Sue Baynard of Clover, with whom she enjoyed many travel adventures, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will remember her best for how she loved them through action and her quick wit. May we all honor her memory by serving our Lord and loving each other just as she did.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 1 pm at Bethany ARP Church with Reverend Benjamin Glaser officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
