Mitzi Jayne Roberts

Mitzi Jayne Roberts, 64, of Gastonia North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on September 24th, 2023.

She was born in Gastonia in 1959 to Roger and Vivian Earney.

Mitzi was of Native Heritage and instilled it into her generation to pass on to the next and be ever going. To always be our true selves and never forget where we came from. She was a hard-working Mother and Grandmother that loved deep. She built memories not only for herself but for her son and grandchildren. Some positive and some negative, but she was always present. She was never dull. Sometimes chaotic, but her beauty for everyone shone through the darkest time of her life. At times she struggled but always overcame everything that was thrown at her, whether it was an internal struggle or spiritual breakthrough till her very last breath. Always in our hearts. Never forgotten, always here in spirit.

Mitzi was preceded in death by her Father Roger Earney and Mother Vivian Rimmer Jones.

She is survived by her son, EJ Roberts and wife Michelle Roberts and five grandchildren: Keiana, Chandler, Amiah, Caylee and Makayla. Her Brother Steve Earney and Sister Theresa Williams.
