Mitchell Lee Walker

Mitchell Lee Walker, 67, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Buncombe County on August 29, 1956, to the late Clyde Mitchell Walker and Evelyn Rhodes Simpson.

Mitch loved his family, motorcycle, music, animals, baseball and especially NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Patrick Walker and grandson, Kasey.

Mitch is survived by his sons, Daniel Walker, Shane Acker; daughters, Michelle Walker, Kimberley Walker, Kerry Walker, Crystal Graham, Amy Simpson; sister, Donna Walker; 25 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; niece, Devyn Lovelace.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, 6 – 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
