Misty Jo Ramsey

I t is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Misty Jo Ramsey, who left us on March 22, 2025. Born on September 17, 1975, in Gastonia, NC, Misty was a loving mother, daughter, and friend. She resided in Kings Mountain, NC, where she filled her days with laughter and love.

Misty was a spirited individual known for being the life of the party. Her passion for life was evident through her love for the outdoors, where she often enjoyed spending time under the sun. She had a special bond with animals, especially her beloved dogs, who never left her side. An avid pool shooter, Misty could often be found at her local pool hall, showcasing her skills and adding a spark to every game.

As a devoted mother, Misty cherished her two daughters, Stephanie and Jackalyn, and her son, Stephen II.

Misty is survived by her mother, Barbara Grant, her children, and her stepfather, Charles Grant. Her creativity shone through her love for drawing, always finding a way to express herself through art.

She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, Misty.
