Minnie Mae Lovette

Minnie Mae Lovette, 70, of Lincolnton, passed away on August 25, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center, Lincolnton.

She was born December 19, 1945, in Tennessee, daughter of the late Sarah Campbell.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Willard "Buck" Wilson Whitted.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Mrs. Lovette, is survived by daughters, Joann Whitted Carver of Lincolnton, Sharon Whitted of Cherryville; grandchildren, Amanda Payne, Kasey Carver, Tonya Carver, Jimmy Whitted, and Taylor Glines; seven great – grandchildren.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by son, Jimmy Dale Whitted Jr., great – grandchild, Anthony Payne.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The Minnie Lovette Memorial Fund in c/o Joann Whitted Carver 215 Hawks Bill Dr. Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
