Minnie Leila Bullis

Minnie Leila Bullis, 71, of Lawndale, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC.

She was born on May 16, 1949, in Cleveland County, to the late Gradie Cook, Sr. and Beulah Gantt Cook.

Minnie was a member of North Brook Baptist Church in Cherryville. She retired from Firestone Mill after over 38 years of service. Minnie was loved by many friends and family. She had such a precious soul that touched the lives of many.  Minnie's happy place was Pawley's Island, SC.

In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie "Tank" Bullis.

Left to cherish Minnie's memories are her daughter, Angel Howard and husband Wayne; brother, Gradie Cook, Jr. and wife Chan; sisters, Wanda Goble and Sue Holt; grandchild, Gracie Leila Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Bullis, officiated by Pastor Robert Wise, will be held at 1:45 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the North Brook Baptist Church – 7421 Flay Rd, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Family will receive friends 1-1:45 pm at the church.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is assisting the family.
